AB Observing that the European hedge fund industry has grown exponentially in the last few years, the author discusses the structure of the industry and the reasons for its growth, noting several issues frequently cited as areas of concern for potential investors. He provides a description of the main European hedge fund strategies, an exposé of the key drivers of returns within a strategy, and a discussion of the outlook over the next 6 to 12 months.
